For PayIn's Solana receiving field, copy your own public Solana wallet address. Do not copy the USDC mint from a token directory. The mint identifies the currency; your wallet address identifies the receiving owner.
If you run a shop, finding that address is the first setup task. Customers still need a clear payment request, and staff need a way to notice and verify the completed sale without opening the owner's wallet throughout the shift.

Find the Solana address in Phantom
Check that the intended merchant wallet account is selected before copying. Different accounts in the same wallet application can have different receiving addresses.
| Phantom interface | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Mobile app | From Home, open Deposit, then Receive Crypto. Select Solana and use its copy control. |
| Browser extension | From Home, open Receive, find Solana and copy its address. |
These steps follow Phantom's official receiving guide, which includes interface screenshots. Use the Solana network address rather than a username or a receiving address for another network. Labels can change as wallet versions change; the provider's guide is the place to check the current interface.
The wallet's receiving QR represents its own receiving information. It is different from a PayIn QR that opens a web payment request.
Find the address in Solflare
Open the intended wallet's home screen, choose Receive and use Copy for the displayed wallet address. Solflare also offers a receiving QR and a Share option. Its official address guide describes these controls.
Copy the complete address instead of retyping it. Solana addresses are case-sensitive. Compare the address you paste with the wallet's displayed value, including the full value when checking setup; a shortened prefix and suffix alone are not a complete match.
Is a Solana address the same as a USDC address?
The phrase “Solana USDC address” can describe three different things:
| What you are trying to find | What you need |
|---|---|
| The owner receiving a merchant payment | Your public Solana wallet address |
| Whether a token is the intended USDC asset | The official Solana USDC mint |
| Where that owner's USDC balance is held on-chain | The associated USDC token account, or ATA |
For the full mint and account relationship, use the Solana USDC receiving-account guide. Do not replace your wallet address with the mint or paste an ATA into PayIn's wallet field.
An exchange deposit page can have its own network choices and restrictions. Follow that provider's exact deposit instructions for a manual exchange deposit; do not assume its address is a wallet you control or automatically suitable for PayIn setup.
Turn the address into a customer payment request
At Create link, choose a recognizable merchant title and the intended amount mode, enable Solana and enter your public wallet address. A fixed amount suits one clearly priced item or service. Customer-entered amounts need a separate agreement about the total; a link does not calculate a basket.
Save the private management access and use the separate customer Payment link for invoices or a website button. For face-to-face sales, open the POS display link on the counter device with the screen toward customers. Keep private management and POS access off public signs.
PayIn currently requires no merchant signup and is free to create and use. Wallet operations, network costs and external services remain separate; this is not a promise of permanent pricing.
Copying the address does not prepare the token account
PayIn's current Solana checkout checks that the receiving wallet's associated USDC token account already exists. A public address can be valid while that account is absent. Adding a token to a wallet's watch list does not prove on-chain initialization.
Prepare receiving with your wallet's supported process or a trusted operator before opening the counter. The receiving-account guide explains PayIn's check and why checkout does not automatically create or sponsor that account. Never provide recovery words or signing keys to configure a payment link.
What should staff receive instead of the wallet?
Give the counter device the POS display link, rather than the merchant's wallet recovery material. Staff need the customer-facing QR, visible payment feedback and an activated sound announcement. The owner can retain wallet control and private management access.
Before handing over goods, match a newly completed payment and its amount to the sale. A copied address, a wallet connection or a customer's screenshot is not that confirmation. Continue with the Solana counter walkthrough for the complete handover, or payment preparation when the customer's funds are on another network.
